This high mountain tea from Nantou County is great for hot or cold brewing. It is certified organic by the Taiwan MOA and packaged in a Japanese teabag that is suitable for organic tea. Each teabag contains 3g of tea and may be purchased in a 12 bag package (1.3oz net wt.), or a 40 bag package (4.3oz net wt.)

Hot brew: Place 1 teabag (3g) in the cup. Add 6 to 8 oz of *185-195F (85-87C) degree water. Brew 30-60 seconds. This tea may be brewed about 2 times.

Cold brew: Place 1 teabag in container. Add 12 oz (1 1/2 cups) of cold water. Keep in refrigerator overnight. An airtight container is recommended to prevent food smells from impacting tea flavor. Good for 3 days.

*This temperature may be approximated by:
1) Using water from a hot water dispenser or
2) Heating water until small bubbles form or
3) Removing a pot of boiling water from its heat source and letting it sit for about 5-10 minutes.
