In the Han dynasty, Chengdu was one of the three capital cities in the Three Kingdoms of Romance. It followed the Dao philosophy for thousands of years. Today Chengdu mixes the old and new so well. I visited a 5 star hotel. The founder dreamed of being an artist but ended up becoming a business man. In the main lobby on the second floor, he designed a tea area. It so beautiful and so cultured. It exemplifies the elegance and beauty of Chinese architecture.
