Award-winning Winter Bao Zhong. This "Silver Award" pesticide-free tea, grown on a beautiful island in the middle of a drinking water reservoir in Taiwan, won second place in a Taiwan Bao Zhong competition. Gentle, clean, slightly sweet, with a gardenia aroma. It returns a gentle sweetness to the throat. Taiwan is the only place in the world where authentic Bao Zhong can be found. It is hand picked and very limited in production.
Place 1 tablespoon (5g) tea in the teapot. Add *200 degree F (95 C) water to the teapot to awaken the tea. Immediately pour out and discard the water. Finally, add water and brew 45-60 seconds.
*This temperature may be approximated by:
1) Heating water until medium bubbles form or
2) Removing a pot of boiling water from its heat source and letting it sit for 5 minutes.
