Harvest Area:
Hewei Laozaizi, Baoshan
Harvested entirely from a wild, single, one-thousand-year-old tea tree, this extremely limited production, traditional (baked) black tea comes from the pristine mountains of Baoshan, Yunnan, China, elevation 7200 feet. This area is the birthplace of all the world's tea trees.
The clean, gentle, slightly sweet aroma reminiscent of apricots lingers pleasantly in the cup. It is relaxing and soothing. There is no bitterness, and the taste is sweet in the throat. Even good when cold, as sweetness evolves. The color is crystal clear and shiny. The tea may be brewed an amazing amount of times, and the tea retains its consistency and vibrance.
This is a traditional baked black tea, so it must be sealed airtight for storage.
Amount to use:
5g tea to 6oz water. Each 5g can be brewed about 20 times.
How to brew:
1) Rinse your tea in cold water first for about 10 seconds, then discard water.
2) Use about 180-195 degrees water to brew.
3) Brewing time 10-15 seconds.
